Quick & Yummy Breakfast

Starbucks Frappuccino (light) Original Pin

Since I’m not a huge fan of drinking hot coffee, it’s always been hard to find an easy way to make coffee in the morning. But since coming up with this concoction, it only takes about 5 minutes to have a light, ice-blended frappuccino.

What you need:

-1 Starbucks Via [5 cal]

-If the VIA it’s not a mocha flavor add 2 tbsp of powdered chocolate. [24 cal]

-1/2 cup 1/2% milk [30 cal]

-1 Tsp vanilla extract or syrup [12 cal]

-1.5 Tbsp white sugar [25 cal]

-8-10 ice cubes

-Dash of cinnamon

Total calories: 99 (compare to Starbucks: 190 for a tall)

Blend to taste. Add whip if desired.

(For variety: Experiment with hazel, cinnamon, and chocolate syrups to replace the vanilla.)

Muffin-Tin Eggs in English Muffins Original Pin

SO much better than any egg McMuffin you can get at McDonalds. Healthy, customizable (you can add peppers, sausage, spinach, whatever you like), and fast. My family has made these before, and we typically freeze them. In the morning, all you have to do is pop it in the microwave, and toast an english muffin.

Eggs: 1 egg per muffin tin cup
Mayonnaise: 1 tbsp per 3 eggs (helps eggs stay fluffy)

Extras:

Cheese

Onion

Veggies

Sausage

Salt & Pepper

-Spray muffin tins and preheat the oven to 350.

-Sauté veggies and/or meat.

-Whisk eggs in bowl. Add mayonnaise.

-Add veggies, cheese, cooked “meats” and onion to whisked eggs. Stir.

Pour into muffin tins. (About 1/3 cup per muffin cup).

Cook for 20-25 minutes.
