The original pin: Making bowls out of perler beads.

This time, my brothers were the ones doing the project. We decided to change it up and use a cupcake pan instead–that way we could have more bowls and use fewer beads.

The materials: Pearler beads. A cupcake tin (or oven safe bowl). Cooking spray.

The boys had fun picking out colors, they were very meticulous about making sure the color schemes were perfect. Hah, I just went for the jumbled color look.

Bake in oven for 10 minutes at 375 (20 minutes if you are doing the bigger bowl).

Once its out of the oven, while it’s still hot, mold the cups with a spoon (push beads around to fill in gaps).

Since we used cupcake molds, the bowls turned out to be rather shallow, but that was  okay…

The legos still thought they were great. 😉
